George Dobry, CBE QC Former barrister and English Judge, George Dobry is now in practice as an International Arbitrator. He has had many years of experience of arbitrations in England, and his recent experience includes commercial arbitrations in a wide range of subjects, involving parties from Poland, Italy, Finland and India. He is a Member of the Warsaw Arbitration Court, and has sat in several arbitrations (conducted in Polish) in the Warsaw Court. Previous appointments and posts include: Legal Secretary, International Commission of Jurists, 1955-1957; Adviser to the Secretary of State for Environment and the Secretary of State for Wales on Development Control, 1973-1975; Adviser to the Lord Chancellor on International Legal Relations, 2000.
