Captain Pottengal Mukundan
Captain Mukundan is the Director of the International Chamber of Commerce’s Commercial Crime Services, the ICC’ s International Maritime Bureau, and its Counterfeiting Intelligence Bureau and Commercial Crime Bureau.
He is the holder of a B.Sc. degree in Maritime Studies from Plymouth, and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. He obtained a Shipmaster’s Certificate of Competency Class 1 at Southampton.
He joined the ICC in the early 1980’s, and took over as Director of the International Maritime Bureau in 1996, and as Director of the Commercial Crime Services in 1999.
For the last 19 years he has specialised in the investigation, detection and prevention of on-shore and off-shore commercial and maritime crime cases – many of these being substantial and well-known cases.
He lectures frequently on trading Frauds and Failures.
